South Boise
Nestled between the Boise Bench, Southeast Boise and Meridian, Southwest Boise is distinctly different than its neighbors. In the 1960's to early 1980's southwest Boise realized considerable development with many of the neighborhoods offering homes on small acreages. Due to concerns about rapid suburban development, a moratorium was declared and development halted until the 1990's.
